Hug It Out

My girl has never been cuddly. Even in the NICU she was all hooked up to tubes and wires while holding her head up and trying to see the world around her. That trend has continued throughout her life.

With all of its emotional highs and lows toddler hood has brought an entirely new aspect to her personality. She still doesn't like to cuddle but if she's mad, sad, happy or glad she loves to ask for hugs and sometimes kisses. Isn't that a wonderful way to live life, never being afraid of saying "I just need to be held right now"? Throwing caution to the wind and asking people who loves us to help us when we are sad or celebrate with us when we are glad is something I think we could all do a better job of. Except maybe our toddlers, our toddlers seem to have that one down pat.

Yikes! Google reader is going bye bye this Summer! Make sure to follow another way so you don't miss a thing!
